Then we apply an emulsifier to loosen and dissolve embedded soils, followed with a fresh soft water rinse removing all soil and cleaning detergents, leaving no residue that could attract dirt later. Our powerful truck mounted equipment has enough vacuum to remove almost all of the moisture leaving your carpet only slightly damp, not wet. Average dry time is 1-2 hours. Scotchgarding — Sprays on to protect fibers and repel stains from the carpet.  If you have pets or children, or areas of high traffic this treatment is recommended. New carpet comes with a protective layer applied at the mill. Over time this protective layer gets worn and scratched from normal everyday use, making the fibers porous and easier for dirt to attach. Scotchgard acts as a sealer, coating the carpet fibers and filling in the damaged or porous areas making it harder for soil to attach. This keeps the fibers cleaner longer and makes it easier to maintain, prolonging the life of your carpet and furniture.
